Tillandsia capitata
Tillandsias are called air plants because they can grow without soil. They are popular as easy-to-display greenery. This product is a large variety with bright green leaves covered in trichomes. It turns a beautiful red color when blooming.
Location: Good air circulation and moderate brightness are essential. Outdoors, choose a shaded spot like under a tree. Indoors, a location where light filters through a sheer curtain is ideal.
Watering: There are two methods: misting the entire plant (leaf misting) and soaking the plant in a basin of water to absorb moisture. Leaf misting should be done every 3-4 days, and soaking every 2 weeks.
