【Excellent Condition】SEIKO5 ACTUS - Working, Good Accuracy, Gasket Replaced, New Leather Strap

This is a rare 1970 Seiko 5 Actus with a unique dice-cut index dial, featuring a retro-pop design that is quintessentially 70s.

The indices and hands are sparkling clean with no corrosion.

The dial is silver-toned, with a gradient effect towards the outer edge, becoming slightly darker.

The crystal has a faint scratch near the 9 o'clock position when held up to the light at different angles, but overall it is clear with no noticeable scratches or scuffs. Please check the images.

The case and bezel have minor scuffs consistent with its age, but they have been lightly polished after cleaning, so there are no noticeable scratches and the shine has been maintained.

The gasket on the case back has been replaced with a new one. Silicone grease has also been applied, so while not completely waterproof, it should offer some peace of mind for daily use.

Date adjustment by pulling the crown out one step, time setting by pulling it out two steps, and day of the week adjustment by pushing the crown all function correctly.

The movement has undergone some adjustments and is currently running well with an accuracy of approximately +25 seconds per day.

For a mass-produced movement of this era, the current accuracy is excellent. However, as this is an old mechanical watch, future accuracy cannot be guaranteed.

A new genuine leather strap has been fitted for this listing. We felt a classic crocodile pattern would not suit this dial, so we paired it with a black smooth leather strap with white stitching.
