This is a Showa-era retro casserole pot a la Francaise from Marubishi, aホーローware brand by Arakawa Metal Industry Co., Ltd.

Made ofホーロー, which is glass fused onto a metal base, it offers excellent heat conductivity and heat retention, allowing you to cook simmered dishes to a fluffy and delicious finish.
The smooth surface resists odor and color transfer, and it is resistant to acids, alkalis, and rust, making it easy to clean even after cooking dishes like curry.

Current Market Value: This Marubishi vegetable-patternedホーロー pot is still very popular today as a retro-pop interior item and vintage kitchen accessory.
