Description
Classic Early American Pattern Glass butter dish in Northwood's iconic Grape & Cable pattern, pressed in clear crystal glass with a brilliant glossy finish. The domed cover features bold grape clusters and vine leaf relief wrapping the body, with a scalloped oval arch band at the shoulder and a ribbed acorn finial. The scalloped underplate seats the dome cleanly. A handsome three-piece display piece from Northwood's Wheeling, West Virginia factory, c. 1905–1915. CONDITION: Excellent. No chips or cracks. Two minor surface irregularities on the dome rim are manufacturing artifacts — mold marks and a small glass bubble — present from production and not damage. DIMENSIONS: 6 H x 7.5 dia.
